If you are a fan of CBD oils and tinctures, you have likely come across the brand CBDfx. But, perhaps, you don’t know enough about this brand, and have, thus, opted to settle for a brand you already know.
We can hardly blame you.
The maddening crowd of CBD brands and products can be quite mind-boggling even to regular CBD consumers. It’s impossible to keep track of so many brands and innovative products clamoring for your attention. But, CBDfx has been around for quite some time for you to have missed its amazing products.
Nevertheless, for your benefit, we have decided to dissect this brand and its popular products in this blog.
About Brand
Since its inception in 2014, the company has come a long way. It is currently the fifth-largest private company dealing in CBD in the world.
So let us break it down, as is our won’t, according to our set parameters.
Method of Sourcing
CBDfx collects the best-quality organic hemp mainly from Colorado and Kentucky to produce premium CBD products in its advanced facilities in California.
The brand follows the standard practice of methodical organic farming and, hence, the products are organic, non-GMO, and pesticide-free.
Extraction & Manufacturing
CBDfx follows the supercritical CO2 extraction method—i.e. the single-pass method—to extract CBD from organic hemp. This ensures that CBDfx products contain the maximum benefits of organic hemp and there are no chemical residues left in the process.
CBDfx claims that its facilities and products meet the CGMP (current good manufacturing practices) regulation standards. CGMPs are the regulation standards of the FDA on product-making, processing, and packaging.
Ingredients
The main ingredients used for any CBDfx product are pure hemp oil and hemp extract. Other ingredients may also be added to achieve better consistency, enhanced taste, or added health benefits.
For example, CBDfx tinctures contain MCT oil extracted from coconut as an added product for better absorption in the human body.
Also, CBDfx gummies have different flavors depending on the added benefits of turmeric, spirulina, or berries.
Third-party lab testing
CBD products must go through third-party lab testing as proof of reliability. Third-party labs are supposed to give unbiased opinions. CBDfx products are tested at the CCTL third-party lab, which has an ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. All products are tested as many as eight times, claims CBDfx.
CBDfx brand reputation
CBDfx was founded in 2014 and has already spent six years in this emerging industry. In this period, it has earned a lot of positive feedback online and was rated “A” by the Better Business Bureau. Reviewers also appreciate CBDfx for the online facilities it offers. CBDfx has never faced any warning letter from the FDA, unlike many other companies manufacturing CBD products.
CBDfx certifications
As mentioned already, CBDfx products meet the CGMP standard. The brand claims that it follows the practice of organic farming to produce hemp and that the products are non-GMO and pesticide-free. However, the products do not appear to be USDA-certified.
Marketing practices and company policies
The company has a detailed website that lays down whatever information a customer may ask for. Not only does it cover basic queries such as “What is CBD?” but also explains all the common terms related to the compound. Of course, thorough details about the products are present as well.
Blogs
The company website offers blogs written on various topics that are self-explanatory. The topics range from full-spectrum CBD to how CBD helps maintain fitness to what could be the best CBD products for you and how it could help your pet relax.
Product range
The company offers a wide range of products, including gummies, capsules, tinctures, topicals, pet products, and even cookies.
You can also lookup a product based on your need, e.g. for sleep, pain relief, or general health.
Companies looking for bulk products can look up the “CBDfx wholesale” facility.
Shipping Policy
CBDfx offers free shipping of products throughout the US for its customers.
Return policy
The company offers a full refund if you return a product within 60 days from the date of purchase and if you don’t open the packaging.
The company also guarantees a full refund if you used the product but did not get the desired result. All you need to do is to take a snap of the product and write the reason for the return to the customer care email id provided on the website.
If you receive a damaged product, you must report it within 48 hours. The customer service department will take the necessary action at their end.
The company website also offers a dedicated click button to process hassle-free returns.
A rare feature that CBDfx provides is the option of exchanging products. You can place a new order and exchange an unwanted product by following the terms and conditions mentioned on the website.
Customer Privacy
CBDfx maintains the privacy of its customers and never shares the data with any third party. It also provides a “Do not sell my personal information” facility on the website, which you can opt for.
CBDfx Product Reviews
CBDfx offers a wide range of CBD products. We will review for you some of its most popular products.
#1. CBDfx Oil Tinctures
CBDfx tincture oils are vegan and non-GMO products. Apart from pure CBD, you can also get tinctures infused with other cannabinoids such as CBG and CBN as well as powerful antioxidants such as curcumin, which is found in turmeric. You can get tinctures for your furry friends, too.
Ingredients
CBDfx tinctures are 100% vegan. The hemp oil is mixed with edible oil, known as the carrier oil, for better bioavailability and absorption in the body. CBDfx uses the MCT oil or (coconut oil) as the carrier oil in its tinctures.
CBDfx tinctures provide maximum health benefits to customers. The combination of the best cannabinoid profiles—CBG and CBN apart from CBD), terpenes, and nutrients ensure a “layered functionality”, providing a more enhanced effect.
Extracts
CBDfx oil tincture uses CBD oil extracted from organically grown hemp following the CO2 extraction method. CBDfx selects the best-quality organic hemp containing a higher rate of CBD and minimum percentage of THC that varies between 0.01% and 0.03% for broad- and full-spectrum respectively.
CBDfx oil tinctures can be categorized into the following three types:
Full-spectrum: Phytocannabinoids such as terpenes and THC can be traced in this category of tinctures at the maximum limit of 0.3%.
Broad-spectrum: THC is at a non-traceable limit—below 0.01%.
CBD isolates: THC is below 0.002%.
Strengths
CBDfx tinctures are available in five different strengths ranging from 500–6000mg CBD and 150–600mg CBN. You can choose a product according to your needs.
Consumer Satisfaction
The tinctures have an average online rating of 4.9/5 based on more than 800 consumer reviews. Do we need to say more? Most users heaped praise on the tinctures for helping them get sound sleep at night. However, some didn’t like the taste.
VV’s Take
We used the tinctures and were super impressed with their efficacy. These were great to calm our nerves and helped us relax. The tinctures are quite strong, too. The shipping service was great.
#2. CBDfx Gummies
Among all the CBDfx products, gummies are the most popular. And it’s quite understandable why. Most CBD brands sell gummies. But they focus mostly on flavors. CBDfx gummies come with the added benefit of turmeric and spirulina, or apple cider vinegar, or melatonin (for sleep). You even get multivitamin gummies for men and women. What’s best is that they taste great too.
Extract Type
CBDfx gummies contain CBD extracted from the best-quality hemp through the critical CO2 method. CBDfx selects organically produced hemp containing a higher rate of CBD and minimum percentage of THC. Gummies, being chewable products, ensures the complete absorption of CBD into the digestive system by ingestion. But, quite a bit of it is lost during the first-pass effect.
Ingredients
CBDfx gummies carry all the goodness of CBD and are supplemented with the benefits of various food nutrients such as mixed berries, spirulina, turmeric, melatonin, multivitamins, and apple cider vinegar. All of them are vegan products and contain no GMOs.
Flavors
They come in different flavors, including berry, lemon, mild vinegar, etc.
Strengths
CBDfx gummies are available in 1500mg strength per serving. These contain 50mg broad-spectrum CBD along with other nutrients, as mentioned above.
Consumer Satisfaction
The products have an average online rating of 5/5 based on more than 2,200 consumer reviews. Customers have praised the gummies for pain relief as well as for helping them beat stress. Many have said they like the taste too and appreciate the fact that these don’t contain sugar.
VV’s Take
We found this popular CBDfx product quite user-friendly, especially for beginners. It’s perfect for consumers living a fast life and who ask for the wellness of CBD on the go. These give a range of benefits, from helping with relaxation and sleep to giving relief from joint aches. It was a good buy for us.
#3. CBDfx Creams & Topicals
Topicals are great for getting relief from pain more effectively. That’s because you’d be applying it directly on the spot that’s bothering you. CBDfx has a range of topicals such as CBD cream, CBD balm, face mask, and bath bomb. CBD topicals will also moisturize and nourish your skin apart from giving you pain relief.
Extract Type
CBDfx topicals use broad-spectrum CBD for all skin products. This helps both with natural skincare and resolve minor pains, sore muscles, and aches. This broad-spectrum CBD is extracted from organic hemp through the CO2 method.
Ingredients
CBDfx topicals contain CBD along with Vitamin E, essential oils, arnica, shea butter, aloe vera, menthol, caffeine, and white willow bark.

First-time customers generally face a lot of confusion regarding which product to choose and how to use it properly. The following is a complete buyer’s guide to help you if you are a beginner.
How to Choose
The perfect CBDfx product for you would depend on variables such as your lifestyle, your specific requirements, your age, and your likes and dislikes.
CBDfx tinctures and capsules usually take one or two hours to take effect. If the taste of CBDfx tincture bothers you, you can opt for the flavored gummies. If you have joint pain, a topical can be the product of your choice.
How to Use
Like any other product, you should start with a low dose and observe how your body is reacting to it. Accordingly, you can gradually increase the dosage.
If you are using the CBDfx tincture oil, hold it for 15–20 seconds under your tongue before swallowing it.
The method of taking CBDfx softgels is similar to that of taking any other medical supplement.
Gummies are the easiest to handle, as they are chewable. But if you are using night-time gummies to solve your sleep issues, be careful about the presence of melatonin in it. It is safe to take it an hour before bedtime.
If you want to treat your joint pain with a CBDfx topical, it is advised to apply it on a small area of your skin to observe if you get any adverse reaction.

CBDfx: FAQs
Q: Can CBDfx products be detected in drug tests?
A: If you are consuming any product with broad-spectrum CBD or isolates, the amount of THC is within the negligible limit of 0.002–0.01%. Full-spectrum CBD products contain 0.3% or lower levels of THC. So, if you consume CBD products at a stretch on high doses, there is a chance that you’ll test positive in a drug exam. So, if you are expecting a drug test, we suggest that you stop using CBD products for a while.
Also, read the COA certificates of CBDfx products before consuming them to have a clear idea about the amount of THC intake.
Q: Which is the right CBDfx product for me?
A: This would depend on your needs. The best product would be the one that gives you the best result. All human beings are different and so are their lifestyles and genes. So, try out different CBDfx products in rotation to decide which works best for you.
Q: How do I turn on the CBDfx vape kit?
A: Press the start button 5 times in a quick succession of 3 seconds to power on your CBDfx Vape Kit. If the button is pressed with delays, the device won’t start.
